Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Maasai Mara

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and greeted by a representative of Liora Africa Safaris. After a short briefing, depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara via the scenic Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, home to abundant wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and big cats. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with picnic lunch. The reserve is renowned for its high concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

During the Great Wildebeest Migration season (July–October), you may witness dramatic river crossings along the Mara River. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and proceed toward the Kenya–Tanzania border. After immigration formalities, continue into Serengeti National Park, where your Tanzanian guide will take over.

Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or camp in the Serengeti. The vast open plains are teeming with wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, lions, and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the day exploring Serengeti with extensive game drives. Serengeti is famous for its endless savannahs, rich predator populations, and year-round wildlife sightings.

Depending on the season, you may track the Great Migration or focus on resident wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of plains game. Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim in the afternoon.

Enjoy sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater — one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts nearly 30,000 animals, including black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and flamingos.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha

After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive to Arusha, passing through scenic highlands and local communities. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Arusha.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya–Tanzania safari with Liora Africa Safaris.
