Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Meet & Greet

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met and greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and preparing for your safari adventure. Overnight stay in Arusha.

Day 2: Fly-In to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your scheduled light-aircraft flight to the Northern Serengeti. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s vast savannahs. Upon landing, meet your safari guide and enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.

Northern Serengeti is famed for its untouched wilderness, abundant predators, and seasonal Mara River crossings. Afternoon game drive, dinner, and overnight at your luxury tented camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Spend a full day on safari in the Northern Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. This region offers excellent opportunities to photograph wildebeest herds, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards in dramatic settings.

During migration season (July–October), focus is often placed along the Mara River. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you travel south toward Central Serengeti (Seronera). Witness changing landscapes and diverse wildlife habitats along the way.

Arrive in time for lunch at your camp or lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Seronera region is known for year-round wildlife concentrations, especially large lion prides and frequent leopard sightings. Dinner and overnight in Central Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day in Central Serengeti

Today is dedicated to extensive game drives across Central Serengeti. Explore kopjes, riverine forests, and open plains that support a dense population of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize time in the field. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor.

The crater hosts nearly 30,000 animals, including black rhinos, large tusked elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 7-day fly-in Northern Tanzania safari.
